Last Week's Picks:

Race: Secretariat

Win: Ming
Place: Captivating Moon
Show: Analyze It

Comments:
This race is a guess. I'm going to go with Ming because the jockey came with him to run. He's 3/4 and most important, won't be too far back. There seem to be only a couple horses that want to run near the lead. I don't want to be too far back. He won his last race under wraps. Taking a chance.

Race: Fasig-Tipton Lure

Win: Blacktype
Place: Inspector Lynley
Show: Zennor

Comments:
Blacktype is a running machine. He's 7 years old and still banging out 2s on the Sheets. A 2 can win this. I'm glad this race was canceled last week because he was drawn outside then. Now he's in the 2-hole. He'll be able to save ground and be forwardly placed. He might even wire this thing. And he has Manny, a jock who never gives up. I'll be playing this one hard in the Saratoga contest.

Inspector Lynley is the fastest. He gets a good post too but is only 7-2. He can win and I'll have a big backup exacta with him.

Zennor won this race for me last year. I won so much money I bought a Zennor suit. A Zennor suit is a suit you buy when you have won a lot of money on Zennor. Trainer has HUGE numbers on the turf off a long layoff. But he is outside and a little slower than Blacktype, so I use him underneath here.

Race: Beverly D.

Win: Thais
Place: Inflexibility
Show: Fourstar Crook

Comments:
This race is pretty tough. I think Sistercharlie is going to bounce off her last, which was a small top, but a super fast race. The spacing is short for Chad. Anyway, as I told someone who was disappointed about this race having so many Chads, just take the longest Chad. So I am following my own advice, but not betting this race at all. However I do think Thais has a shot. She ran a small top in her first race as a 4YO, then reacted. She's going to run a top.

Race: Arlington Million

Win: Catcho En Die
Place: Almanaar
Show: Century Dream

Comments:
I was bummed after picking Catcho En Die at 85-1 in the Manhattan, I got off him in his next. Well, the price will be great again today, and this horse can win. He just ran a small top and is in the best form of his life. I won't be betting it though as I have to focus on the Saratoga contest. Good luck.
