Last Week's Picks:

Race: Secretariat

Win: Lucius Tiberius
Place: Captivating Moon
Show: Analyze It

Big field in here.

Playing on site in the Saratoga contest tomorrow but will have an eye on the Arlington big races.

In here I will go with the euro, Lucius Tiberius, he has raced all sorts of distances from 7f to 2 and 1/2 miles. He is 3 for 4 at the mile and a quarter, last 2 were wins.

Captivating Moon usually hits board, longshot chance in here, Geroux rides back

Hunting Horn and Analyze It meet again, not sure about Anaylze It and the distance, he is a hit tough to figure, but has talent

Lucius Tiberius

Race: Fasig-Tipton Lure

Win: Mr Cub
Place: Projected
Show: Inspector Lynley

Greetings from Saratoga, hopefully will have some winners this weekend. /P>

This race is back after it cancellation last week, some of the players have changed. Voodoo Song runs in the 4stardave instead of here.

Might be time to hop off the Conquest Panthera train, too many chance not enough wins, although beware the Channel Maker win from 2 weeks back

Mr. Cub should attend pace, benefits from lack of Voodoo Song.

Dalarna used to be good, off form and tough to use in here.

Zennor won this race last year and has not raced since. I’ll have to skip in here.

You're to Blame and Secret Passage are main track only entries.

Inspector Lynley is only 3/15, in decent form, he can run late, Projected could be the one to beat, he will be rolling late, question is whether he gets there in time.

Blacktype won his last, likely a confidence booster in an optional claimer, meets a little better in here.

I will go with Mr. Cub, seems a decent price with a possible favorable pace set up. /P>

Race: Beverly D.

Win: Dona Bruja
Place: Sistercharlie
Show: Daddys Lil Darling

Beverley D Stakes

Chad Brown has 4 of the 9 runners in here. I think Sistercharlie is the best in here, she requires perfect timing though and also needs to avoid traffic

Athena won the Belmont Oaks on short rest, She now takes on older, I will pass in here.

Dona Bruja has been off since her April Keeneland race. She picks up Arlington rider Valdivia in here. I'll give her another chance in here, she has won off a layoff before, she offers some value in here. Hopefully she can either set an easy pace or be right behind someone else on the front end.

Fourstar Crook will run late, she wins a lot of races.

Daddy's Little Darling won the local prep, she is another that may sit off the pace.

Dona Bruja

Race: Arlington Million

Win: Century Dream
Place: Almanaar
Show: Oscar Performance

Arlington Million-

Oscar Performance draws the outside, he has an impressive resume, comes off a monster effort in the Poker, he could win, but I will look for a better price elsewhere.

Divisidero will run at Saratoga instead of here.

Century Dream is the Euro I like best in here, he gets William Buick to ride, 7 for 15 overall, He is in good hands with Buick. Here is hoping for a Buick Century resurgence in here as GM discontinued production with the 2005 model. He is just a 4yo, can get better in here.

Deauville has 2 3rds over the course, only 4 for 21 overall, he can win but he is 1 for last 13.

Almanaar returns off layoff, Brown figures to have ready. Robert Bruce looks ok, 9/2 seems low, makes 3rd US start. Brown's third runner is Money Multiplier, he may want longer.
